Due to icy conditions, classes are cancelled and schools are closed in the Dubuque Community School District today, Tuesday, Jan. 17.
- The District Honor Choir rehearsal scheduled for 4 p.m. at Irving Elementary School has been cancelled.

January 10 Activity Cancellations
Due to inclement weather, all activities in the Dubuque Community School District are cancelled or postponed for tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 10. This includes the following:
- All middle school practices are cancelled.
- The Hempstead High School boys basketball game versus Cedar Rapids Kennedy has been postponed until January 17 at Hempstead.
- The Hempstead High School girls basketball game versus Cedar Rapids Kennedy has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. \
- The Dubuque Senior High School boys basketball game versus Cedar Rapids Prairie has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
- The Dubuque Senior High School girls basketball game versus Cedar Rapids Prairie has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
- The Hempstead High School ninth grade boys basketball game (Green vs. Gold) has been postponed until January 17.

All Dubuque Schools will release two hours early TODAY, Tuesday, Jan. 10, due to an expected drop in temperatures this afternoon causing re-icing of roadways.
