Checklist for New Students
How to Register
NEW to the district?
Complete the following if you have a kindergartner or new student to the district and have NOT completed a New Student Enrollment Packet or attended a kindergarten welcome session.

| Not sure what school you attend? Determine your home school at www.dbqschools.org/find-your-school or call 563/552-3275. Even if you wish to apply for open enrollment, you should start the process at your home school. | |
| 2 | COMPLETE THE NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT PACKET |

| 3 | SCHEDULE A REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT |
| Call your home school to arrange a time to register your child. | |
| Bring your completed New Student Enrollment Packet and proof-of-age (birth certificate). | |
| At the appointment, you will receive an Access ID and instructions on how to complete the eRegistration process. | |
| This step must be completed before the remainder of the eRegistration process for all students. |
