Individual Counseling

Typically, individuals are referred by teachers, staff, parents or through self referrals to the counselor. Counselors may work in collaboration with outside agencies to continue services. Individual counseling is designed to help students in the following areas, but are not limited to:

  • Grief and loss
  • Transitions
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Growth mindset
  • Attendance
  • School success
  • Family issues
  • Family members with serious illness
  • Mental Health challenges

  • Check-ins/Check-outs
  • Healthy coping skills
  • At-risk students
